Great Audio Tool

I’d like to start off by saying the built in mic on the iPhone/iPad is so-k, but unless you connect a proper external mic don’t expect anything below 50db… however if you do connect a proper external mic, this is one of the best app’s out there for $1.99¢. I’m the son of a “golden ear” who not only built speakers, but can tune a room better then a machine (been proven time and time again)… And for what the base device (iPhone/iPad) it works as expected.

When testing turntables, looking for the wow & flutter, it’s a great quick go-to app, before you need to haul in the über expensive hardware… If you need to quickly check the anything this app offers.. true, there’s better out there.. but remember the price point and the hardware you’re using…

If you’re not going to be using this for a PRO application (i.e. spending a few grand (at the get go).. you’ll be quite happy with this app. It’s a great “first blush” check.

Why listen to me, you don’t know me, however I’ve been a bassist for over 33+ years, own a portable studio and aside from the day job, Music is my love and passion… There are a few choice app’s I keep in my iPhone/iPad toolkit for audio.. and YES this is one of them!
